The bill "On the Budget of the Unemployment Insurance Fund for 2026" has been adopted

The bill on the budget of the Unemployment Insurance Fund for 2026 was submitted for discussion at today's plenary session of parliament and adopted in the third reading, reports BAKU.WS with reference to Oxu.Az.

It is important to note that free funds remaining in the accounts of the Unemployment Insurance Fund (including the apparatus and other structural divisions of the body determined by the relevant executive authority) will be directed to financing next year's expenses and (or) investments in accordance with the law "On Unemployment Insurance".

Revenues of the Unemployment Insurance Fund

It is projected that in 2026, the revenues of the Unemployment Insurance Fund will amount to 238.3 million manats, and the volume of funds from the fund's reserve formed in previous years and directed to financing expenses for 2026 will amount to 28.1 million manats.

It is expected that collections of unemployment insurance contributions in 2026 will amount to 236.6 million manats, which is 30.27 million manats or 14.67% more compared to the approved figure for 2025, and 3.03 million manats or 1.3% more compared to the execution of 2024.

The forecast for receipts from unemployment insurance contributions paid by budget-funded organizations and their employees is 51.9 million manats.

In 2026, 184.7 million manats or 78% of the projected receipts from unemployment insurance contributions will come from the non-budgetary sector.

Expenses of the Unemployment Insurance Fund

The expenses of the Unemployment Insurance Fund for 2026 are projected at 266.4 million manats, which is 5.7 million manats or 2% more compared to the approved figure for 2025 and 73.7 million manats or 38% more compared to the execution figure for 2024.
