QazaqGaz and SOCAR discussed prospects for cooperation in the gas industry

Chairman of the Board of JSC "NC QazaqGaz" Alibek Zhamauov and President of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) Rovshan Najaf discussed prospects for cooperation in the gas industry during a meeting in Ashgabat.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Report, the meeting took place in Ashgabat on the sidelines of the scientific-practical conference "Turkmenistan - People's Republic of China: 20 Years of Strategic Cooperation in the Gas Industry."

As part of the event, the head of QazaqGaz also held negotiations with the Chairman of the State Concern "Turkmengaz" Maksat Babayev and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of CNPC Dai Houliang.

"During the meetings, the parties discussed the current state and prospects of cooperation in the gas industry, including issues of further strengthening partnership relations and developing joint initiatives," the statement said.

The company noted that QazaqGaz continues to actively develop international cooperation, contributing to the strengthening of energy security and the expansion of interaction at regional and global levels.
