The number of labor contracts in the non-oil private sector exceeded 1 million.
As BAKU.WS reports, Azerbaijan's Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov wrote about this on his account on the social network X.
"From the beginning of 2019 to the present, the number of labor contracts in this sector has increased by approximately 470,000 or 87%. About 55% of all labor contracts are accounted for by this sector.
In addition to economic development and job creation, tax reforms aimed at "whitening" wages and increasing employment in the non-oil sector, based on 7-year benefits, played a decisive role in achieving these significant results," the publication says.
