Mikail Jabbarov took part in the meeting of the Board of Directors of member countries of the Islamic Development Bank
Azerbaijan's Minister of Economy Mikail Jabbarov participated in a meeting of the Board of Directors of member countries of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) and a reception organized within the framework of the 2025 annual meeting of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank Group during his visit to the United States.
The head of the department wrote about this on his X social media account.
He noted that the meeting served as a useful platform for exchanging views on sustainable and inclusive development priorities with the Chairman of the IsDB Group, Muhammad Sulaiman Al-Jasser, and colleagues representing member countries.
At the meeting, special attention was paid to the preparatory work for Azerbaijan's hosting of the IsDB Group Annual Meeting in 2026 and issues of strengthening cooperation with Islamic financial institutions to achieve common development goals.
