In 2025, against the backdrop of ongoing political-economic tensions and uncertainty on a global and regional scale, macroeconomic stability was ensured in Azerbaijan.

As reported by Oxu.Az, the aforementioned issue was reflected in the draft law "On the execution of the state budget of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2025."

It is noted that the gross domestic product (GDP) grew in real terms by 1.4% and amounted to 129.1 billion manats.

The non-oil and gas sector recorded growth of 2.7%, while the oil and gas sector experienced a real decline of 1.6%.

In 2025, GDP per capita grew in real terms by 1% and amounted to 12.6 thousand manats.

Last year, in the GDP structure, the largest share (33%) belonged to industry, where, despite a decline of 0.8%, value added was produced in the amount of 42.6 billion manats; in the trade and motor vehicle repair sector (share of 11.3%), with real growth of 3.3% - 14.6 billion manats; in the transport and warehousing sector (share of 7.1%), with real growth of 4.6% - 9.1 billion manats; in agriculture (share of 5.9%), with real growth of 0.9% - 7.6 billion manats.
