ING forecasts Azerbaijan's economic growth at 2.5% in 2026
The largest banking group in the Netherlands, ING Group, forecasts Azerbaijan's economic growth at 2.5% in 2026 and 3% in 2027.
This is stated in the company's report.
Compared to previous forecasts, the GDP growth rate for the current year has been lowered by 0.3 percentage points (pp), while the 2027 forecast has been raised by 1 pp. Thus, the average annual GDP growth of the country in 2026-2027 is projected at 2.75%.
According to ING Group's estimates, economic growth in the first quarter of the current year will be 3%, in the second quarter – 2%, in the third quarter – 4%, and in the fourth quarter – 1%.
Additionally, in the first quarter of 2027, economic growth is forecast at 3%, in the second quarter – 3.5%, in the third quarter – 2%, and in the fourth quarter – 3.5%.
