During the control measures, samples were taken and examined from batches of apples with a total weight of 163.4 tons, belonging to LLC Fueqo and individual entrepreneur Ilkin Gasanov.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to the Food Safety Agency of Azerbaijan (FSAA), laboratory analyses showed pesticide levels exceeding the permissible limit.

Since the products do not meet Turkey's requirements and the standards in force in Azerbaijan, their export was prohibited. The batches of apples have been sent for disposal.
