On November 18, a meeting and master class with the famous Uzbek miniature artist Jahongir Ashurov was held organized by the Administration of the State Historical and Architectural Reserve "Icherisheher," followed by the opening of an exhibition of the artist's works.

As reported by BAKU.WS, the event was attended by the Vice President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, founder and head of the IDEA Public Association Leyla Aliyeva, head of Baku Media Center Arzu Aliyeva and the daughter-in-law of President Ilham Aliyev Alyona Aliyeva, as well as representatives of the creative community.

During the meeting held at the Baku House of Photography, J. Ashurov shared his creative experience with participants, demonstrated his technique, and answered questions.

Artists, designers, art critics, and art lovers present at the event had a unique opportunity to closely familiarize themselves with the intricacies of miniature art and feel its magic.

Later, an opening ceremony of Jahongir Ashurov's exhibition "Eastern Miniature: A Journey Through Time" was held in the exhibition hall of the Baku House of Photography.

The exhibition has special significance for introducing viewers to the rich history of miniature art.
