Zelensky spoke out about the timeframe for the end of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky expressed hope that the conflict with Russia can be ended in less than a year.

He said this in an interview with France 2.

According to Zelensky, for Ukraine the conflict has an "existential character," as it concerns the country's independence.

The head of state expressed hope that Ukraine will not lose, and emphasized that the conflict must end through diplomatic means.

"I hope that peace will be achieved in less than a year," the Ukrainian leader noted.
