Zelensky signed an agreement between Ukraine and the USA
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky signed a law on ratification of the agreement between the governments of Ukraine and the USA on rare earth metals.
This was reported on the website of the Verkhovna Rada.
The document was approved by the Ukrainian parliament on May 8. 338 people's deputies voted "in favor".
On the night of April 30 to May 1, Ukraine and the USA signed an agreement on the creation of a joint Recovery Investment Fund with equal participation of both sides. The agreement was the result of lengthy negotiations, however, as noted by the Ukrainian government, Kyiv managed to secure favorable conditions.
