Zelensky: Russian Armed Forces losses in March became the highest since the start of the war
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Russian troop losses in March reached the highest level since the beginning of the war, exceeding 35,000 personnel.
He announced this on the social network X.
"From our drone strikes alone, 33,988 Russian military personnel were killed or seriously wounded, while artillery and other strikes eliminated another 1,363. This means more than 35,000 Russian losses in just one month – and these are clearly confirmed losses," he wrote.
Zelensky added that he had agreed with ministers on a number of tasks for the coming weeks. In particular, decisions are being prepared to strengthen Ukrainian infantry, improve the system of army contracts, and implement measures to counter unauthorized abandonment of military units.
