Zelensky revoked the Ukrainian citizenship of Odessa mayor

The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has stripped Odesa Mayor Gennadiy Trukhanov of his Ukrainian citizenship.
This decision was made based on documents provided by the Security Service of Ukraine confirming that Trukhanov holds Russian citizenship and has connections with Moscow.
An investigation has been launched against the official. Simultaneously, a new city military administration is being created to govern Odesa, which will be headed by Serhiy Lysak, who currently leads the Dnipropetrovsk region.
It is worth noting that in Ukraine, city mayors are elected by local residents in elections. Odesa is currently one of Russia's key targets in the Russian-Ukrainian war.
