Zelensky reacted to the upcoming meeting between Trump and Putin
US and Russian Presidents Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin will not be able to make any decisions on Ukraine during their meeting in Alaska. Without Kyiv's participation, this is impossible.
As reported by BAKU.WS, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated this during the Ukrainian Youth Forum "Youth is here!"
He noted that the talks between Trump and Putin are important in any case. But talking about Ukraine without Ukraine is impossible, and no one will accept such a format.
"Therefore, the conversation between the US President and Putin can certainly be important for their bilateral track. But they cannot make any decisions about Ukraine without us," Zelensky emphasized.
The head of the Ukrainian state expressed hope that Trump understands this principle. Zelensky is also confident that in the future there will be a meeting between him, Putin, and Trump. Because if there is a desire to end the war, such a summit is necessary.
Recall that the meeting between Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin is scheduled to take place on Friday, August 15, in Alaska (USA).
