Zelensky reacted to the statements of the US Vice President
Ukraine is already working on additional agreements for fuel supplies, including planned cooperation with Middle Eastern partners.
As reported by Unian, this was stated by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
"The most problematic type of fuel is diesel, while the situation with gasoline is relatively better. The authorities, suppliers, and state companies are using market agreements and support mechanisms to keep prices stable and prevent their sharp increase," he noted.
Zelensky also commented on the words of U.S. Vice President James David Vance about "bargaining over a few kilometers," emphasizing that it is not simply about "a piece of land."
According to him, such assessments indicate a lack of understanding of the real value of Ukrainian territories.
"These lands have strategic significance, are fortified from a defense standpoint, and remain home to hundreds of thousands of people," the Ukrainian leader emphasized.
He added that for Russia, the occupation of these territories is not a symbolic outcome but a springboard for further offensive operations.
