Zelensky: Negotiations in Istanbul may take place today or tomorrow
Kyiv awaits clear signals from the US and Turkey regarding the timing of negotiations between Ukraine and Russia in Istanbul.
As Report informs, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky stated this at a press conference in Ankara following talks with the President of Turkey.
"We are waiting for clear signals from our colleagues from the US and Turkey regarding the time and date of negotiations. They can take place today or tomorrow," Zelensky said.
Zelensky emphasized that Ukraine is interested in negotiations with Russia and hopes that the meeting "will still take place."
"No one will ignore even the slightest step that could lead to peace. Our position remains constructive," he added.
