In Moscow, a 25-year-old resident was detained who came up with an unusual way to distribute prohibited substances. The girl tried to use a popular food delivery service to transport drugs.

As BAKU.WS reports with reference to Russian media, the incident occurred when a vigilant courier, after receiving an order, suspected something was wrong. After checking the contents of the package with shawarma, he discovered a package with a suspicious substance hidden inside and immediately contacted law enforcement agencies.

Officers from the drug control department of the Internal Affairs Directorate for the Northern Administrative District promptly responded to the report and detained the suspect at the entrance of a residential building.

Examination confirmed that the package, skillfully disguised in the shawarma, contained almost 12 grams of hashish. During a search of the detainee's apartment, police discovered an impressive arsenal of prohibited substances: about 200 grams of hashish, more than 120 grams of ephedrone derivative, and about 60 grams of N-methylephedrone derivative. In addition, electronic scales with traces of narcotic substances were seized.

A criminal case has been initiated against the suspect. The court chose detention as a preventive measure for her. Currently, the police are investigating whether the detainee had other similar episodes of illegal activity.
