Entrepreneur Elon Musk has postponed the creation of his party, which would have drawn votes away from Republican voters, reported The Wall Street Journal. The businessman wants to focus on developing his companies and maintain support from influential representatives of the Republican Party.

The newspaper noted that Musk has recently maintained contact with US Vice President JD Vance and once told business partners that he would not want to spoil relations with Vance because of the new party. At the same time, the publication added that the businessman has not completely abandoned his initiative.
