White House commented on the pause in providing military aid to Ukraine

The pause in providing support to Ukraine is related to the standard review of military aid by the US to all countries, not just Kyiv. This was stated by White House Press Secretary Caroline Levitt, according to RIA Novosti.
"This is a standard Pentagon review of all military assistance that the US provides to all countries and regions of the world, not just Ukraine," she said.
Previously, NBC News, citing sources, reported that US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth unilaterally decided to suspend military aid deliveries to Ukraine.
On July 2, the US suspended deliveries to Ukraine of important Patriot interceptors, anti-aircraft missiles, precision munitions, and 155mm shells. The Pentagon is conducting a review of its own arsenals and is concerned about their depletion due to prolonged assistance to Kyiv and operations in the Middle East. Some weapons are already in Europe, but the shipment was delayed before being sent to Ukraine.
