Waiter fired from a restaurant in Moscow for bringing lard to Muslims

A waiter was fired from the "Taras Bulba" restaurant in Moscow for bringing lard to Muslim customers. The incident became known to the publication "Podyom".

The mother of the now ex-employee explained to the publication that the young man had no malicious intent. Guests who have not yet decided on their food order are brought a free treat.

"It's a tavern after all, lard dominates there because it's Ukrainian cuisine, borscht, everything is made with lard, lots of pork. The guests weren't dressed in any particular way, there were no preliminary conversations about Muslims coming, no one warned my son," the woman shared.

According to the mother, when the waiter left the food on the table, the guests became indignant and began shouting that there was pork. The employee approached them and explained that it was a compliment from the chef.

The parent claims that the young man was demanded to apologize. Afterward, he had to resign from the establishment.
