The US has notified Israel that it is sending dozens of additional tanker aircraft to the country, as American President Donald Trump is considering the possibility of launching new strikes against Iran.

American and Israeli officials told the news site Axios that Trump may intensify strikes on Iran in the coming days.
Currently, 33 American tanker aircraft are parked at Ben Gurion Airport, displacing other aircraft used for commercial flights.
