US authorities detained a suspect in the shooting of Democratic politicians

In the USA, law enforcement officers detained 57-year-old Vance Boelter, suspected of shooting at Minnesota state legislators.
As reported by BAKU.WS, this was announced by the CBS television channel.
According to their information, the man was detained near his home.
"Vance Boelter, the man who authorities believe shot two Minnesota legislators and their spouses... is now in custody," the information states.
Previously, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz reported that the man who attacked Democratic Senator John Hoffman and shot Democratic legislator Melissa Hortman and her husband committed these crimes while posing as a police officer. The suspect was then able to escape from the police.
US President Donald Trump stated that he had been informed about the "horrible shooting" that occurred in Minnesota. The head of state called it a "targeted attack on state legislators."
