Special Operations Forces (SSO) of Ukraine revealed details of the operation to hit the Russian small missile ship "Grad" in Karelia.

It is noted that the operation was carried out in Lake Onega at 04:31.

"Special forces hit the small missile ship of project 21631 "Buyan-M" (side number 575) when it was heading from the Baltic to the Caspian Sea. The strike hit the right part of the power plant compartment, which led to serious damage to the vessel. Additional details are still being clarified," the information says.

"Grad" is one of the newest ships of the Russian Federation. It was commissioned into the Baltic Fleet on December 29, 2022. The main armament of the vessel is the "Kalibr-NK" missile system.
