President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky stated that America has proposed holding a trilateral meeting between Ukraine, the USA, and Russia at the level of National Security Advisors (NSA). Kyiv supports this idea.

As reported by RBC-Ukraine, Zelensky said this while answering journalists' questions.

The head of state informed that he was told about the proposal by the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Rustem Umerov, who is currently in the USA and held talks yesterday with American and European partners regarding ending the war.

"Regarding Umerov, he called me and said that America is proposing a trilateral NSA (National Security Advisors - ed.) meeting - America, Ukraine, Russia," said Zelensky.

At the same time, the president noted that he is not sure if this meeting will bring anything new, but added that similar meetings were previously held in Turkey and they yielded certain results. In particular, the return of military and civilian prisoners. Therefore, Ukraine supports America's proposal.

"If such a meeting can now take place, which would unblock exchanges, or if the result of a trilateral NSA meeting could be an agreement on a trilateral meeting of leaders - I cannot be against it. We will support the US proposal," Zelensky concluded.
