Two earthquakes struck Turkey in succession

Earthquakes occurred in two provinces of Turkey today.

This was reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Turkey's Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD).

According to the information, at 08:01 local time, tremors with a magnitude of 4.4 were recorded in the Yedisu district of Bingöl province. The epicenter was at a depth of 7 km.

Forty minutes later, an earthquake with a magnitude of 3.1 occurred in the Sındırgı district of Balıkesir province. The epicenter was at a depth of 14.93 km.
