Turkish lira exchange rate updated its historical anti-record

The Turkish lira exchange rate reached a record low during trading on August 13.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Investing, since the start of trading, the Turkish currency has depreciated by 0.09%, falling to 40.74 lira per dollar. At its lowest point, it was worth 40.7455 lira per dollar.

Over the past week, the lira has lost 0.15% of its value, and has depreciated by more than 21% over the year. Five years ago, the dollar exchange rate was only 7.3 lira.
