Turkey's Ministry of Defense confirmed the launch of another ballistic missile from Iran
The Ministry of National Defense of Turkey confirmed the launch of another ballistic missile from Iran.
As reported by BAKU.WS, the relevant publication was posted on the ministry's official page on the social network X.
The information states that a ballistic missile launched from Iran that entered Turkish airspace was neutralized by NATO air defense forces stationed in the Eastern Mediterranean:
"Decisive and immediate measures are taken against any threats directed at our country's territory and airspace. Negotiations are underway with the relevant country to clarify all circumstances of the incident. All events in the region are carefully monitored and assessed, with our national security being the priority."
It should be recalled that earlier, two ballistic missiles fired from Iran were neutralized using the NATO air defense system after they violated Turkish airspace.
