Trump stated that the USA will take over the governance of Venezuela

The US is ready to govern Venezuela until they can ensure a "legally correct transfer of power".

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to RBC, US President Donald Trump stated this at a press conference on the situation in this Latin American country.

"We are going to govern the country until we can ensure a safe, proper and reasonable transition of power. We do not want to participate in a situation where someone else intervenes and ultimately faces the same problem," Trump said.

According to Trump, the US authorities "are going to make very large oil companies... invest billions of dollars in restoring the oil infrastructure [of Venezuela], and start making money for the country".
