Trump: NATO Countries Refused to Participate in US and Israel Operation
World 0

Many NATO countries have notified the Washington administration that they will not participate in the US and Israeli operation against Iran.

US President Donald Trump announced this on Truth Social.

In this context, he noted that he no longer needs nor desires the assistance of Alliance countries. According to him, most NATO allies refused to participate in US actions in the Middle East, despite the fact that they supported America's position regarding the inadmissibility of Iran possessing nuclear weapons.

"I am not surprised by their position, because I have always considered NATO, within which we spend hundreds of billions of dollars annually on the defense of these same countries, a one-sided organization - we protect them, and they do nothing for us, especially in a moment of need," Trump emphasized.

He noted that the US had dealt a catastrophic blow to Iran's military capabilities: naval forces, aviation, air defense systems and radars were destroyed, and perhaps most importantly - their leaders at virtually all levels have been eliminated.

"Thanks to such military success, we no longer need and do not desire the assistance of NATO countries - we never needed it! Just as (assistance - ed.) from Japan, Australia, or South Korea. In fact, speaking as the President of the United States, by far the most powerful country in the world, we do not need help from anyone!" he added.
