According to Trump, the conversation was constructive, and the parties will soon begin discussing the terms of ceasing hostilities. He noted that the details will be discussed directly between Moscow and Kyiv.

Trump added that the Vatican has expressed willingness to host the negotiations, and also emphasized the prospects for US-Russian economic cooperation after the end of the conflict.

"Russia is interested in large-scale trade with the US after the war ends, and I support this. The potential is enormous," he emphasized.
