Trump explained what is preventing a deal with Iran

The death of a significant portion of Iran's leadership is one of the factors complicating the conclusion of a deal between Washington and Tehran.

As reported by BAKU.WS, this was stated by US President Donald Trump in an interview with WABC radio station.

"Part of the problem is that many of the Iranian leaders have been killed. It's not easy to make a deal. You don't know who's running [the country]," the American leader said.

At the same time, he emphasized that the US is successfully achieving its goals in the conflict with Iran, in particular, preventing Tehran from obtaining nuclear weapons.
