Trump assessed the risk that his meeting with Putin might not be successful
US President Donald Trump stated that he is not confident in the possibility of reaching an agreement on an immediate ceasefire in the Ukraine conflict following his meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Russian media, the American leader noted: "I don't think we will achieve an immediate ceasefire".
Trump also estimated a 25% risk that his meeting with Putin would be fruitless.
According to him, he intends to call Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky only if the negotiations are successful. If the meeting does not yield results, Trump said he would not call anyone.
