Trump announced the date for signing an important treaty between the USA and Ukraine

An agreement between the USA and Ukraine in the field of mineral extraction is planned to be signed on April 24. This was announced by US President Donald Trump during a conversation with journalists at the White House, TASS reports.

"We have a deal on minerals, and, as I assume, it will be signed next Thursday. I believe the parties are ready to fulfill the conditions, so we'll see everything soon," Trump noted.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky earlier stated that today the parties may sign an online memorandum of intent as part of the future agreement.

"Our team is now working with American colleagues on the text of the memorandum. Right at this moment. This is not about the final agreement, but about a memorandum of intent, and its signing is possible today in an online format," Zelensky said. The video with his statement was published on the YouTube channel of the publication "Public. News".

Initially, the document was planned to be signed on February 28, but the process was disrupted after a conflict between Zelensky and Trump at a meeting in the White House.
