US President Donald Trump announced that large American forces are approaching Iran, expressing hope that Tehran will agree to a deal.

Speaking to his supporters in Iowa, Trump addressed the topic of Iran, once again repeating the claim that the United States "destroyed [its] nuclear capabilities" in June 2025. "One more month and they would have had nuclear weapons, we were forced to do this," he said, commenting on the strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities in Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan.
"By the way, another big beautiful armada is right now beautifully moving toward Iran, so we'll see. I hope they will make a deal," the president added.
