Trump and Zelensky meeting begins at the White House

In Washington, D.C., a meeting between US President Donald Trump and his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky has begun.

Trump greeted Zelensky at the entrance. After a joint photo and comments for the press, the leaders entered the building.

When a journalist asked what he would say to the Ukrainian people, Trump stated: "We love them."

Earlier, the White House reported that Trump would first hold talks with Zelensky for an hour, and then meet with European leaders.
