Tomorrow Ukraine and the USA will discuss 5 key points
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky revealed the issues that will be discussed at tomorrow's meeting with US President Donald Trump.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to RBC-Ukraine, Zelensky said this during a conversation with journalists.
He noted that today Ukraine has a bilateral track, and 5 key issues will be discussed during the negotiations: Ukraine-US security guarantees, Ukraine-Europe security guarantees; military direction, welfare and recovery plan (according to him, several documents are planned in the recovery plan), and a plan of sequential actions.
"That is, we want to propose step by step how to make all those plans that I have already mentioned really work. They (the US - ed.) will certainly discuss all this with the Russian side, and we will have feedback," Zelensky explained.
Note that on December 28, Trump will receive Zelensky at his residence in Mar-a-Lago (Florida).
The Ukrainian leader has already announced that in addition to him, the Ukrainian delegation includes Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Rustem Umerov, Minister of Economy Oleksiy Sobolev, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Andriy Hnatov, adviser to the head of the Presidential Office Oleksandr Bevz and First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Serhiy Kyslytsia.
According to information in the media, Zelensky at the meeting with Trump intends to resolve key disagreements on the peace plan. The President of Ukraine himself publicly stated that during the negotiations, he will definitely raise territorial issues. In particular, the parties will discuss both Donbas and the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant.
