The White House called the negotiations between Russia, the USA and Ukraine in the UAE historic
USA called the trilateral talks on ending the Russian-Ukrainian war held in UAE a historic event.
This was stated by White House press secretary Caroline Leavitt.
"Last weekend, a multilateral meeting took place that didn't receive wide coverage, but was historic in nature. The president's team did indeed bring both sides of this war to the negotiating table to move closer to peace," Leavitt reported.
She also added that US President Donald Trump is personally involved in the process. According to her, Trump's special envoy Steven Witkoff and entrepreneur Jared Kushner, who are part of the American delegation, regularly inform the head of state about the results of the negotiations.
Note that on January 23 and 24 in Abu Dhabi, the first meeting of the trilateral working group of Russia, the USA and Ukraine on security issues took place. According to the parties, the meetings were conducted in a constructive manner.
