The US and Israel struck petrochemical companies in Iran
The US and Israel struck at least three petrochemical companies in the Mahshahr special economic zone in southwestern Iran.
This was reported by the deputy governor of Khuzestan province.
"At 10:47 (11:17 Baku time - ed.), three hits and a powerful explosion occurred in the special petrochemical zone of Mahshahr district. According to preliminary assessments, as a result of the air attack by the American and Israeli adversary on Mahshahr, the petrochemical companies Fajr-1 and Fajr-2, Redzhal, and Amir Kabir were hit," Fars agency quoted him as saying.
According to the deputy governor, the likelihood of civilian casualties and injuries as a result of this attack is very high.
