The US and Iran have not yet agreed on the details of negotiations in Switzerland
Washington and Tehran have not yet finalized the coordination of plans for signing a bilateral memorandum of understanding in Switzerland and beginning negotiations on technical issues.
As reported by BAKU.WS, this was communicated to journalists by a representative of U.S. Vice President JD Vance.
According to him, preparations for the upcoming consultations are ongoing, and the American delegation is ready to fly out for negotiations at the earliest opportunity.
"The plans for the upcoming negotiations on technical issues have not yet been finalized, and the U.S. delegation is ready to depart as soon as it becomes possible. However, the organizational aspect of such negotiations has never been simple or predictable," the Vance representative noted.
He also clarified that the U.S. Vice President himself does not plan to travel to Switzerland on the evening of June 18, Eastern Time.
Washington expects that technical negotiations between the parties will begin in the near future.
