The Russian delegation arrived in Istanbul for negotiations with the Ukrainian side, which are scheduled for May 15.

Previously, the publication reported that the Il-62M aircraft of the special flight detachment "Russia" landed at Istanbul airport.
The delegation is headed by Vladimir Medinsky, an aide to Russian President Vladimir Putin.
On the evening of May 14, Russian President Vladimir Putin formed the composition of the Russian delegation for negotiations with Ukraine. Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia Mikhail Galuzin, Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Alexander Fomin, and the head of the Main Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation (formerly known as the Main Intelligence Directorate - GRU) Igor Kostyukov also departed from Moscow to Turkey.
From the Ukrainian side, the head of the presidential office Andriy Yermak, Defense Minister Rustem Umerov, Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiga, and presidential advisor Ihor Zhovkva will participate in the negotiations.
