The Russian Foreign Ministry commented on the situation with the detention of Azerbaijanis in Russia

Russian Chargé d'Affaires Petr Volokovykh, who was invited to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan on June 28, provided clarifications regarding the detentions of representatives of the Azerbaijani diaspora in Yekaterinburg.

As reported by TASS, this was announced by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova.

According to her, Volokovykh assured the Azerbaijani side that the situation is under the control of Russian law enforcement agencies and all necessary measures are being taken.
