The reason for Poroshenko's wife's lawsuit on property division has been named

The wife of former Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, Maryna, filed a lawsuit for the division of joint property to protect her husband's assets from seizure. This was reported by the press service of the "European Solidarity" party led by Poroshenko.
"The lawsuit for property division is a joint defense tactic of the Poroshenko family against Zelensky's attempts to block Petro Poroshenko's ability to finance aid to the Armed Forces of Ukraine and political activities," the statement says.
Earlier it became known that Maryna Poroshenko went to court with a lawsuit for the division of joint property. The lawsuit was filed on March 27, 2025, and the hearing is scheduled for April 29. The exact list of assets subject to division has not been disclosed.
