"The Oldest Child" was born in the USA

A child was born in the United States from an embryo that had been stored for just over 30 years. The boy was named Thaddeus Pierce, reported MIT Technology Review.
"Thaddeus Daniel Pierce, born on July 26, developed from an embryo that had been stored for 30 and a half years," the publication states.
According to the magazine, the boy set a record as the "oldest child" by being born.
Journalists learned that the embryo was obtained from a woman who underwent IVF in 1994. A total of four embryos were created. One of them was placed in the woman, while the remaining ones were cryopreserved and left in storage.
