The IRGC announced strikes on US military bases in Bahrain and Kuwait
The naval and aerospace forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC, the elite branch of Iran's armed forces) struck American military bases in Bahrain and Kuwait.
As reported by BAKU.WS, this is stated in the IRGC's statement cited by the Iranian state broadcasting company.
"IRGC naval and aerospace forces fighters, in a joint missile and drone operation shortly after enemy attacks on various locations across the country, destroyed key facilities and infrastructure of two American bases — Ali Al Salem and Arifjan in Kuwait, as well as Al Jufair and Sheikh Isa in Bahrain," the statement said.
The IRGC warned that in the event of repeated American attacks, Tehran would expand retaliatory measures, which would also target other U.S. military bases in the Middle East.
