The IMF announced the timeframe for the end of the conflict in Ukraine

The conflict in Ukraine will end in the last months of 2025.

As BAKU.WS reports with reference to lenta.ru, this scenario is stated in the forecast of the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

"Despite the fact that risks remain exceptionally high, the baseline scenario assumes that hostilities will cease in the last months of this year," the message says.

The IMF also indicates that the growth of the Ukrainian economy will decrease by 0.5 percentage points in 2025. At the same time, achieving peace in Ukraine may, on the contrary, improve or at least contribute to improving the economic situation of the country in the future.

In addition, changes in financial and military aid to Ukraine from Western partners are possible, the IMF considered. Such conclusions were made there against the background that negotiations are still only at an initial stage.
