The French Postal Service is issuing a stamp with the aroma of a real croissant

The French Postal Service has introduced a new scented stamp with the aroma of a buttery croissant. This was announced on the department's official website.
The stamp was issued in honor of the competition for the best croissant, which has been organized since 2019 by the French Confederation of Bakery and Confectionery.
"The croissant is a symbol of French gastronomy and one of the most beloved treats of French residents. It is rightfully considered the flagship of the art of baking," noted Dominique Anract, president of the National Confederation of French Bakeries and Confectionery.
The scented stamp is intended for international mail and costs €2.1.
