The court made a decision regarding Huseyn Hasanov

The Moscow City Court upheld the legality of the in absentia arrest of Azerbaijani blogger Huseyn Hasanov, accused of tax evasion amounting to 170 million rubles (approximately 3.6 million manats).
This was reported by TASS.
"After hearing the positions of the parties, the court decided to leave the decision of the first instance regarding Hasanov unchanged, and to dismiss the appeal of Hasanov's defense," the judge stated.
Recall that Hasanov has been arrested in absentia and placed on an international wanted list.
The blogger is charged under part 4 of article 174.1 point "b" of the Criminal Code of Russia (legalization of money or other property acquired by criminal means, on an especially large scale).
According to the statement of the Moscow Prosecutor's Office, Hasanov transferred funds earned from advertising on social networks not to his business account, but to the accounts of individuals - close relatives. Subsequently, these funds were withdrawn in cash and transferred to Hasanov.
