The amount of EU losses due to the conflict surrounding Iran has been revealed

The EU lost 25 billion euros due to the US and Israeli military operation against Iran as a result of rising energy prices.

As reported by TASS, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen stated this at a press conference following the informal EU summit in Cyprus.

"In the 54 days since the start of the conflict, our bill for purchased carbon resources has increased by 25 billion euros, even though we did not purchase a single molecule more. Therefore, we must accelerate the adoption of alternative energy sources," von der Leyen said.
