Strategic corridor: humanitarian aid from Russia delivered to Iran through the territory of Azerbaijan
Humanitarian aid sent from Russia to Iran has been delivered to its destination through the "Astara" border crossing point.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to APA, trucks carrying humanitarian aid consisting of medicines and medical supplies arrived at the "Astara" border crossing point some time ago.
After completing the relevant procedures, the transit of the humanitarian cargo to Iran through Azerbaijan's border was ensured.
Humanitarian aid sent by the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations to Iran has been dispatched from Lankaran to its destination.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to APA, it consists of medicines and medical supplies.
The humanitarian aid was loaded at Lankaran International Airport into cargo vehicles belonging to the Iranian Red Crescent Society. The vehicles will head to Iran through the "Astara" border crossing point.
It is reported that 13 tons of medical supplies have been sent from Russia to Iran.
