Snow fell in Antalya
Snow has fallen on the top of Mount Tahtali, located in the Kemer region of Antalya, at an altitude of 2,365 meters.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to trt haber, as a result of precipitation that began in the morning hours, the mountain peak was covered with a white blanket in a short time. Deputy General Director of Olympos Teleferik Company Haydar Julfa noted that a beautiful landscape formed on the snow-covered peak.
According to him, this became a pleasant surprise for tourists visiting Mount Tahtali by cable car, and visitors greatly enjoyed the view that opened up.
"Local and foreign tourists who came to Antalya expected weather where they could swim in the sea on the coast, but after ascending by cable car to the top of Tahtali, they encountered a landscape where they could play snowballs. This caused both surprise and joy for them," Julfa noted.
He also added that the technical inspection of the cable facilities, conducted with the participation of Turkish and Swiss engineers, has been completed, and the facility is operating at full capacity. Currently, they are fully ready to receive all visitors.
