Serious accusation made against Hollywood star

American actor of Belgian origin Jean-Claude Van Damme has become the subject of an investigation in a case involving a criminal human trafficking network, including minors, in Romania.

According to the Hotnews portal, a lawyer for one of the victims filed a complaint with the Romanian Directorate for Investigating Organized Crime and Terrorism (DIICOT). The document alleges that Van Damme used the services of a person who was knowingly being exploited.

The incident, according to the investigation, occurred about ten years ago during his stay in Cannes. The actor allegedly used the services of five girls of Romanian origin who were forced into prostitution.

The meetings were allegedly organized by Romanian businessman Morel Bolya - president of the non-profit organization EuroDemos and owner of the Kasta Morrely modeling agency. In 2022, he became the main accused in a case involving trafficking of minors. The investigation established that from 2000 to 2016, girls, including minors, were involved in sexual exploitation through his organizations, using psychological coercion.

DIICOT confirmed the filing of the complaint mentioning Van Damme and reported that the investigation is ongoing.
